Student
Organization Training 2012 is around the corner - Sunday, April 15. This year's format is different than previous
years based on feedback from YOU. Please be sure to thoroughly read this e-mail
and visit the Student Organization
Training Web site. As the outgoing leadership for your organization, you
are responsible for passing this along to newly elected officers and ensuring
they register appropriately. Presidents and officers must register by midnight on
Monday, April 9.
Newly Elected Presidents/Directors/Other
"Lead" Liaison positions REGISTER

Training
will begin at noon with a President's Lunch. Please check-in at 11:45 a.m.
outside of the Skyline Room in upstairs Coates.
·
Three
breakout sessions will follow lunch: Goal Setting, "Choose Your Own
Session," and Risk Management Training.
·
Training
will conclude at a short closing session from 4 to 4:15 p.m. in NH 040.
All Other Newly Elected Officers REGISTER HERE

Training
will consist of three break-out sessions in various rooms in Northrup and
Coates. There will be no opening session. Please meet your president at the
Goal Setting session at 1:15 p.m. For your organization's room location, view
the Student Organization Training Web
site.

"Choose
Your Own Session" and Risk Management Training will follow Goal Setting.
Training will conclude at 4:15 p.m. with a short closing session in NH 040.

Risk Management
Training Reminder
As
a reminder, the following officers are required by state law to be present at
Risk Management Training (even if you have attended in the past): president,
risk manager, orientation chair (Greeks), social chairs who plan events on or
off campus. You are required to sign in at this session.
